Bloodhound Education Event Ambassador
Purpose
The purpose of the Bloodhound Education Event Ambassador role is to help the Bloodhound Education team inspire the next generation in STEM and promote the work of the charity.
Background
Bloodhound Education was established as a charity in 2016 (separate from the BLOODHOUND SSC project):
to advance education for the public benefit in science, technology, engineering and mathematics at all levels in primary, secondary and higher education.
The charity achieves its aims through the provision of inspiration days and workshops related to the curriculum and the provision of a range of free education resources.
Although inspired by Bloodhound, the charity is entirely independent from Bloodhound LSR and its new owners, Grafton LSR.

- Parking expenses at events you support, and refreshments whilst there

Times and places
Events that Bloodhound Education are invited to attend typically last for two or three days. If possible, you would be expected to arrive before the doors open to the public, and stay until the end of the day, helping to set up if you attend the first day, or clear down if you attend the last. Most events Bloodhound Education attends are delivered Thursday – Sunday.
Events have recently included: The Big Bang, the BETT Show, Worldskills and the Glasgow TEDx. Ambassadors living within 30 miles of the event location will usually be approached first.
