We are proud to be a part of the Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF) funded by the Department of Education.
Our HAF workshops this Winter are for CHILDREN 6+ YEARS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE SCHOOL MEALS. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Under 6’s welcome as part of a family group.
We are running workshops at 3 different locations:
1. Family Christmas Engineering Fun (HAF) at Bloodhound Education Centre, Berkeley Green
2. Family Christmas Engineering Fun at Cirencester
3. Family Christmas Engineering Fun at Cinderford
1. Family Christmas Engineering Fun (HAF) At Bloodhound Education Centre
Fun, hands-on activities exploring speed and power. You will design and launch a rocket to see how far it will travel and explore how Bloodhound slows down safely using a parachute.
For those families who have been before there will also be range of other associated craft activities that you can do at your own pace.
WHEN?
Monday 19th December 10.30am – 2.30pm
Tuesday 20th December 10.30am – 2.30pm
Wednesday 21st December 10.30am – 2.30pm
WHERE?
We are located at Gloucestershire Science & Technology Park, Berkeley Green, GL13 9FB, 10 minutes from M5 Junction 13.
FOOD PROVISION
All HAF children and parents attending will receive a hot meal catered by our on-site café overlooking the River Severn.

2. Family Christmas Engineering Fun at Cirencester
Fun, hands-on activities where you will design and build an air-powered rocket car. Test and modify your design before racing it and see the results.
WHEN?
Monday 19th December 10.30am – 2.30pm
WHERE?
Watermoor Hall, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1NE (In the Parish Hall next to Holy Trinity Church).
FOOD PROVISION
All HAF children and parents attending will receive a hot meal catered by The Kitchen Club and cooked on-site.
