We are opening our doors at half term for family workshops which are suitable for families with children aged 6 years upwards. A truly inspiring and hands-on event, they are a great way to expand your knowledge whilst having fun and a brilliant way to entertain children – and adults!

Wednesday 27th October
- 1.30pm to 3.30pm – Rocket Car engineering
Thursday 28th October
- 10.30am to 12.30pm – Additive Manufacture
- 1.30pm to 3.30pm – Rocket Car engineering
Additive Manufacture – 3D printing. Explore how additive manufacturing technology works. Design and develop a prototype car using 3d printed parts. Experiment with different components and wheels to see how it affects performance.
Rocket car engineering -. Explore technology suitable for a future land speed record car. Design & build your own hi-speed rocket car and race it at up to 50mph.
Who: children age 6+ accompanied by an adult and family groups.
Price:
Tickets £15 per adult, £10 per child including all materials and a souvenir of the day.
Family Tickets: £35 per family up to 5 people.
Under 5’s free.
