Workshops
We offer a range of exciting hands-on, experiential workshops linked to the National Curriculum (and informed by the Gatsby good career guidance benchmarks) that are suitable for children aged 7 and above. These are tailored to suit each age group and designed to stretch and challenge them while still ensuring they have fun!
We can provide fun, interactive STEM inspiration workshops and activity days with groups of fewer than 30 to over 100 students (depending on the venue size and activities chosen) on our three key themes:
Each day starts with a whole group 30-minute presentation, covering the history of the World Land Speed Record and the technologies behind it, through to STEM careers and opportunities. A focus on BLOODHOUND LSR helps bring the story to life, by demonstrating the development and testing process that has led to the November 2019 high-speed testing achievement of 628mph. As a standalone presentation, this can be opened up as a whole school assembly to maximise the impact of our visit. This can then be followed by one or more workshops of your choosing.
