Come along for a chat and a free lunch for you and the family!
Design and launch a rocket to see how far it will travel. The Bloodhound Car uses a parachute as one of its mechanisms to slow down safely. You will explore the science of air resistance through making and testing different types of parachutes and see the factors that affect drag.
Date and time: Saturday 28th October 2023
Session 1: 10am-12pm
Session 2: 12.30pm-2.30pm
Venue: Watermoor Parish Hall (next to Holy Trinity church), Cirencester GL7 1NE
Who: For children of age 5+ years accompanied by an adult and families. Under 5’s welcome as a family group.
Tickets: Free event, lunch provided for all attending. Booking essential so we can cater for lunches.
