Held at our education centre in Gloucestershire outside of school hours – twilights, weekends and school holidays. Activities are aimed at families with children aged 6 years and older. Each session starts with an interactive presentation on the science and engineering behind Bloodhound LSR, future technology of land speed record cars and sustainable futures. There will also be a tour of the Bloodhound Car and education centre.
These events bring the STEAM experience to families, with children and their parents/guardians taking part in fun, hands-on challenges ranging from building a rocket car to designing a sustainable desert camp. Activities are designed to show potential career paths, put learning into practice and develop skills confidence. There may even be an opportunity to meet local engineers who support the events.
Suitable for: Age 6 upwards
Session length: 2.5 hours per session
Tickets: from £10 per head. Family discount available & under 5s free.
