School visits & workshops

We are delighted to be visiting schools again and the Education team & Ambassadors have been busy running hands-on workshops and engineering challenges in primary and secondary schools this term.

“There is no better way to engage students in STEM than setting them a problem to practically solve. The Bloodhound education team really inspired our young people, and we cannot wait to use this enthusiasm in our future lessons.” (secondary school teacher)

Pre-order a Teacher Toolkit

Bloodhound toolkit

We will train your staff to deliver 3 engineering and enrichment activities and equip you with all the resources you need to run them multiple times. Designed for Key Stage 2 with sustainable engineering themes, these projects can be used for a STEM day or over a whole term. It will also give you exclusive access to the Bloodhound education team and centre.

“Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed this challenge, building their cars and putting knowledge into practice. It was great to see the problem solving amongst the children and everyone helping each other so enthusiastically.”(Primary school teacher)

“I cannot recommend it highly enough. The resources are excellent, so much information and great links. We have had some fun workshops with year 4 and Year 6. All the children were thoroughly engaged, and I was impressed in how these activities made them work as a team.” (Primary school teacher)

Free learning resources and CREST accredited projects

Crest resourcesThank you to the 2,700 + teachers and parents who have visited the website and downloaded resources since lockdown and which continue to be popular, including our sustainable tools project. All our primary resources are now CREST accredited.

“A fantastic project covering many aspects of the curriculum and easily adaptable for a series of lessons in the classroom or a home school activity. This project is a real eye opener to many young people to engage them now and also in future careers” (Secondary school teacher.)
