Vehicle technology is changing all the time. Explore the science of movement, materials and processes. This session allows students to develop engineering skills, team working and problem-solving skills.
Following an interactive presentation around future transportation and sustainable engineering solutions, students will work in groups to design, build and test their own prototype vehicle using different means of propulsion.

Workshop length:
Design, build and test sessions can be run as 1 hour sessions or for a more in-depth experience with data gathering and analysis, longer sessions are available:-
4 x 1 hour sessions
2 x 2.5 hour sessions
1 whole day session
Student numbers:
Up to 33 for 4 x 1 hour sessions
Up to 66 for half day sessions, running twice over the day.
