New sustainable futures workshops – book now!
With the ever-increasing need for sustainable engineering solutions, our existing workshops have been refreshed to explore the cleaner and smarter technology in future transportation and how renewable resources can power our homes and schools.
We also have 3 new workshops:

1. Additive Manufacturing – technology which produces zero waste and is 90% better for the environment. Explore how this technology works. Experiment with 3D printed components to design and build a vehicle and see how the different properties affect performance.
2. Prototype Vehicles – Vehicle technology is changing all the time. Explore the science of movement, materials and processes. Design, build and test your own prototype vehicle using different means of propulsion.
3. Renewable Energy – Sustainable and renewable technology will be critical to reduce the risk of further climate change. Explore how these technologies work through constructing your own working wind turbine and learn how to produce electricity from kinetic energy and see the results to create a genuine ‘light bulb’ moment.
